Wow, if making $300+ a month was easy back then I’d be kicking myself for not making a couple thousand per year and investing it as a teen. My best suggestions…

- Mow Lawns.
- Offer Vacation Services. For a few bucks a day offer to get the mail, grab the newspaper, etc. If they’ve got a pet you can feed and let out/walk then even more money.
- Get a newspaper route. If you can BMX bike you should be at home and fast on 2 wheels. If you’re good and consistent (deliver on time in good shape and good location) you can expect bonuses around the end of year holidays to boot.
- Lemonade/Iced Tea Stand works really nicely for a few bucks a day. A small box of Lipton tea bags, crystal lite lemonade mix and 2 lemons can make multiple pitchers of each for less than $10, less if oyu pawn some off your parents. Charging $1 a glass and hang outside with a stand from 3-6 pm before dinner as people come home from work.
- Do Yardwork. Not only mowing but offer to pull weeds, trim bushes, clean the pool in the morning.
- Baby sit! Plenty of parents this time of year would love to enjoy a summer night away from the kids. Whether its the movies, a walk in the park, or a dinner date while the weather is nice, plus parents may be tired of watching after kids all summer long.
- Door to door sales. It takes some tough online searching but some companies sponsor good causes. While it’s usually organizations or such, if you tell them it’s to compete in bike racing, they may listen. McDonalds and Dunkin’ Donuts are known to let you sell coupon packs. Plus there are magazine and music clearing houses that give a percentage of sales to door to door salesmen.

Your only 14 your not going to make that much money in 3 months, doing some random and around the house and neighborhood. Have a fund raiser at your house or something lemonaid stand? bakery stand?

Mow yards, do other yard work, chores, babysit?
