So you want to get started and make some money online? Great!
Here are three steps you need to follow to make sure you get the best out of the internet as a source of income.
Step 1 – Research
Now I know it doesn’t sound like any fun, but working online is just like starting any other business, you have to know if their is demand for your product or service. In simple terms, do people want what you have to offer?
Now, luckily for you, there are tools available to help you research your market in 10 minutes or less!
Search online for the Google Keyword Tool
Type in the keywords you think your target market will search for and take a look at the results. The higher the figures, the better.
Step 2 – Research the products
You have a few options at this stage. You can choose to sell your own product if you have one, or sell somebody elses.
The way this works varies depending on whether the product chosen is “physical” (something that needs to be posted out) or “digital” (something which can be delivered online).
If you go the physical route, you’ll need to make sure you work out how much postage and packing is going to add to the cost of your product. Don’t have a product? You could try dropshipping. There are plenty of companies that will happily post out orders on your behalf, which means you can make money without stocking or even seeing the product!
I’d personally recommend the digital route as it is far less hassle, and conventional items such as Books, DVDs etc are increasingly delivered online, rather than by post. If you have an eBook, Music, Video or any other digital product to sell then you’re all set.
If you’re just starting out you probably won’t have your own product. But hey, that doesn’t mean you can’t make money online! There are many companies online that will provide you with an entire database of products you can instantly start selling online, and earn commission on.
With the internet being the way it is, everything is tracked, so you get paid for every person you send through who buys. All this without any high overheads or startup costs!
Take a look on google for clickbank.
So, you’ve got your market and you’ve found a product, what next?
Step 3 – Get traffic
So you’re set and ready to go, and you can’t wait to see some money in the bank. The key here is to get as many people as possible who are interested in your market to see your product and be given a chance to buy.
This is where many people starting out tend to fail and give up on the internet as a valid source of income.
Okay, so how do you get traffic?
Some of these options will cost you nothing but a few minutes of your time, whilst others will cost you money. If you’re starting out I’d recommend sticking to the free options. They will make you money if you use them properly!
Writing an article or a review of the product you intend to send and posting it on your blog and getting other bloggers to share it on their blogs/facebook/twitter you’re likely to drive a lot of traffic to your page and hopefully make some sales!

Online gambling should not be seen primarily as a way of making money online. Undoubtedly you can come out on top and walk away with a profit from your online gambling session, but it’s better viewed as enjoyment and entertainment than as a way of making money online.
However if you want to try your luck you should adhere to these four simple rules:
1. Be very careful about which online gambling sites you use. Most online casinos are reputable and trustworthy, but make sure you investigate them thoroughly before you start to play. Since it is not possible to know the track record of each and every online casino today, it is my recommendation to stick with the older more established, and well known ones. Most of them use software that is leased from the larger gambling software companies such as, Microgaming, Work Gaming, Boss Media, and Playtech, and have a reputation of being reliable, and trustworthy.
2. Budget your money: Place an absolute limit on the money that you can afford to gamble with and lose. Never exceed that amount or gamble with money that you can’t afford to lose. Leaving your credit cards out of reach may be a good way to ensure that you won’t be tempted to exceed your budget limit.
3. Never borrow money to gamble with: If you start gambling with borrowed money you can one run the risk of falling heavily into debt and perhaps having to sell your possessions to payback the borrowed money, but the risk of alienating friends and family members, or infuriating the “money lenders” should be enough reason to avoid this practice at all costs.
4. Your main concern when playing on the internet should be the security of your money and your identity. Make certain that any place that you gamble online has a top of the line security system in place to stop others from being able to access your personal information or funds. Naturally, this should be a priority with any place where you provide personal and credit card information online anyway.
So online gambling can be great fun, but it can also be addictive. Use your common sense; perhaps even use a system, but if you do make sure you stick absolutely to the instructions. Other people have already lost far more than you can afford so please make sure you don’t follow in their footsteps. If there are systems that you feel comfortable with you may just be able to use responsible online gambling as a good way for making money online.
